I have to write this review for D'Angelo's Pizzeria on their margarita pizza. It is the BEST!!! I have tried so many different margarita pizzas over the past 5 years or so and nothing tastes as good as theirs!! Truly! The way they prepare it is so different from others. I've tasted some in Europe and nothing compares. It is truly the best!! Love it! Try it!

Good neighborhood pizzeria if you want an affordable meal. Margherita Individual Pie - Crunchy rim, and doughy pizza. The sauce was a tad too sweet, but overall pizza was fine. Chicken roll - Pretty tasty and hefty. Beef Patty - This was fine as well Garlic knots - 4 for a $1? But it's pretty tiny and extremely oily. Would skip Zeppole - 4 for a $1? This was pretty doughy, but for the price, it's not bad

The prices have gone up drastically one slice cost 4 dollars. I couldn't believe it. I thought he was joking around. Everything else it's ok.

This place is a gem in the neighborhood for me honestly. Been here for over 10 years and whenever husband and I crave pizza, we always revert back here because we know you can't go wrong! Tried their pizzas, calzone, pasta and everything is always so fresh and they don't skimp on ingredients. Love their garlic knots too. No frill kinda place so it's more of a pick up and go rather than a full on service place. Expected from a pizzeria though!

I honestly have no idea how I've never reviewed D'Angelo's yet because I've been eating their food for years when I'm in the neighborhood. I love their pasta with their special sauce. It's basically a bolognese with a touch of cream and it is fantastic with both ziti and capellini, it just depends on what I'm in the mood for that day. The pizza is also fabulous; the dough is tasty, the sauce not too sweet but perfectly balanced, and the meatballs I usually get are incredibly delicious. The Caesar salad has superb dressing with the perfect amount of garlic. The pizzas are always thin and crisp and the perfect example of what New York pizza should be like. If you're really in the mood for carb overload, get the garlic knots and zeppoles because both are superb!

This place has been here for years and years. At least 30 years I want to say. There are plenty of pizza places in this area and De Angelo's easily holds it's own with other places. They are right on the corner of 108th St and the restaurant is set up long way. The counters are right in the front and there is some seating in the back. I haven't been inside in awhile as my last two "visits" were via delivery which was easy and fast. I'm not too far but both deliveries the pizzas showed up still piping hot. They have speciality pizzas as well as build your own. They also give you the options of small, medium and large when you are ordering whole pies which is a great option. The food is good. They have a full menu as well, not just pizzas. I definitely need to try the other options on my next visit.
